Bitget, the fourth-largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced the integration of Apple Pay and Google Pay into its payment systems. This seamless integration allows all Bitget users to convert fiat to crypto in 30 seconds, supporting 140 fiat currencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies on any device that supports Apple Pay or Google Pay.
This integration builds upon Bitget’s comprehensive payment gateway, which already includes leading services like Advcash, Banxa, Mercuryo, and more. The established trust and widespread use of both Apple Pay and Google Pay will further enhance the mobility and usability of crypto and Bitget products, addressing concerns about completing crypto-to-fiat transfers via mobile devices.
These services offer market-leading security and enable quick purchases with just a few taps on smartphones, enhancing the overall user experience and increasing trust in digital assets.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, commented on the new addition:
“With the combined user base of over 650 million from both payment applications, we’re enabling broader audiences to interact with crypto. By offering popular payment options, we are making crypto purchases instant and easy. This integration is another step towards our vision of an equitable future driven by crypto’s evolution.”
Earlier this month, Bitget also reported that Bitget Wallet led July’s app store downloads, surpassing MetaMask for the first time. This growth was attributed to Bitget Wallet’s advanced cross-chain and analytics features, which are not available on other wallets.
