EasyA, a leading Web3 education platform, has announced a significant milestone: its community now boasts over one million developers. Building on this success, the company is set to launch a major Polkadot education campaign.
Known for empowering developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) and foster Web3 communities, EasyA has become a crucial springboard for industry innovators. The platform’s impact is evident in the success of its hackathon winners, now collectively valued at over $2.5 billion and backed by prominent venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Founders Fund, and Y Combinator.
“Reaching one million developers is a testament to the insatiable appetite for Web3 education and the incredible talent driving the industry forward,” said Phil Kwok, CEO and co-founder of EasyA.
“We are committed to providing the resources and guidance to help these brilliant minds shape the future of the internet.”
Standout success stories from EasyA’s ecosystem include Axal, an intent coordination network for autonomous Web3 systems; Cognition, an applied AI lab developing end-to-end software agents; and MintStars, a low-censorship content platform enabling creators and fans to profit from resales.
EasyA’s latest initiative, #180DaysofPolkadot, aims to educate over 40,000 developers on building dApps on Polkadot and its parachains. The campaign will offer in-app challenges ranging from beginner to advanced levels, providing hands-on experience in coding, smart contract deployment, and open-source contributions on GitHub.
The top 500 developers will be invited to participate in additional in-app challenges. The campaign will culminate in two major Polkadot-focused hackathons: one in London (July 20-21) and another at Harvard (July 27-28), expected to launch around 100 new projects. This initiative is poised to be one of blockchain’s most extensive developer education campaigns.
EasyA’s track record includes successful hackathons where thousands of developers completed crash courses and built dApps addressing critical industry challenges.
