Cudos decentralized cloud computing network will be partnering with esports and gaming organization LDN UTD at the latter’s November 13th event dubbed “All Access Gaming.” The modern event will be held at Samsung KX in partnership with the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
Notably, the “All Access Gaming” event will be streamed live on the Twitch video platform, at twitch.tv/ldnutd, to showcase health and wellbeing in esports. The event will be hosted by Chelcee Grimes, a leading Instagram influencer with 72,000 followers. Top UK streamers, talented personalities, and creators will also be participating, including ItsHaber, Itani, and pop star Connor Ball who have 409,600, 960,000, and 2,658,300 Twitter followers, respectively. Other participants in these influencer categories will be announced soon.
Part of the event is a Fifa22 competition between top talent to bring out the best among them. These talented persons will also be interviewed on their health and wellbeing journeys. Concluding the event is a panel discussion, in which audiences at the Samsung KX and those on the Twitch chat will have the chance to ask top UK creators about their journeys.
“Bringing Cudos into the LDN UTD family, starting with All Access Gaming, is an endorsement for the approach we are taking as a tech-led purpose-driven esports org. The NFT campaign launch received a fantastic response and we look forward to building out our roadmap with the support of the Cudos infrastructure and team,” said Oliver Weingarten, Founder, and CEO of LDN UTD.
As part of the partnership, Cudos and LDN UTD will jointly conduct a thrilling bundle giveaway open to all Twitch viewers. The Cudo bundle consists of gaming vouchers worth £100, a controller signed by pop star Connor Ball, and an Xbox gaming console.
Of note, every year, more than $1 trillion is spent on IT hardware. However, such gadgets lie idle up to 50% of the time. To better the world of computing, Cudos allows users to earn as they rent spare computing power through the Cudos Network. The Cudos application also allows users to monetize their spare compute power by upcycling it for better use.
Additionally, users of the network can stake their CUDOS tokens to help secure the network, in exchange for rewards. This creates earning opportunities and makes cloud computing cost-friendlier, more sustainable, and more accessible. Part of its team is world-class advisors such as ex-President of Sony PlayStation Chris Deering, and the Director of blockchain at AMD, Jörg Roskowetz.
Cudos had the following to say of the upcoming partnership:
“Esports has exploded in growth globally over the past decade, and the team at LDN UTD are at the forefront of merging the billions of global gamers with the hyper scaling NFT market. The combination of gamification and blockchain play2earn will create new communities of web3 adoption. Furthermore, they share a similar ethos of using tech for good, with a portion of their platform revenues going to the Rio Ferdinand Foundation to support youth and community development in the heart of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities,” commented Pete Hill, Cudos’ Vice President of Sales.
