WebZero has unveiled the complete agenda for its conference sub0 reset, calling on developers, investors, and innovators to collaborate with Polkadot founder Dr. Gavin Wood and industry frontrunners from Parity and the Web3 Foundation. Together, they will focus on developing JAM, a groundbreaking paradigm that sets the stage for creating and securing Web3 applications.
The three-day event, which will take place from November 9 to 11 in Bangkok, will spotlight the groundbreaking innovations within the Polkadot ecosystem. Attendees will witness the evolution of Gavin Wood’s visionary JAM chain project as it transitions into the implementation phase, alongside a showcase of the most cutting-edge projects developed on Substrate.
JAM elevates Polkadot’s existing architecture, introducing a new dimension of flexibility. This innovation allows Polkadot’s cores to be utilized for a variety of verification tasks, encompassing both smart contracts and independent blockchains, thereby unlocking their full potential. It aims to provide a genuine solution to the scalability versus coherency challenge in the Web3 landscape.
Sub0 reset launches with an exclusive day focused on education. Participants will be able to gain insights from industry leaders like Polkadot’s Robert Habermeier and Avail’s Anurag Arjun while engaging in barcamp sessions that delve deeply into Substrate. Day two focuses on Modularity, featuring insights from top innovators at Avail, R0gue, Midnight, and Parity Technologies. Day three is all about JAM & Scalability as we work towards realizing Gavin Wood’s vision for Polkadot—transforming the ecosystem into the world’s first global computer. The venue’s round-the-clock hackerspace will allow emerging teams to collaborate and vie for a total of 10k USD in rewards.
Fabian Gompf, CEO of the Web3 Foundation said: “sub0 reset is the best opportunity for global developer talent to come together and catch up on the cutting-edge innovation happening in the Substrate and Polkadot ecosystems. Ranging from network updates and milestones to parachains, solochains, and a whole day covering Join Accumulate Machine, sub0 reset is an important step for driving forward progress on Polkadot.”
