As per the announcement, the Bitcoinblack members can now redeem their SPEND tokens to purchase high-end experiences in a new and exclusive online destination. Haute Living Magazine, a high-end network of luxury publications, will work with the Bitcoinblack team to create a highly curated marketplace platform. This marketplace will be unique and exclusive for Bitcoinblack shoppers by design.
While commenting on the partnership, Seth Semilof, the COO of Haute Living Magazine, stated:
“We are proud to start offering Bitcoinblack members access to our private, exclusive events.” Cardholders can look forward to wealth with a stellar reputation for putting on the world’s top events for their clients ranging from Rolls Royce, Bugatti, LV, Macallan, Jacob & Co., and others of exciting and elite experiences curated especially for the Bitcoinblack member.
SPEND ERC-20 token serves as the official reward token on the Bitcoinblock ecosystem. Members earn the token for every purchase they make using the card. Prakash Chand, Bitcoinblack’s CEO, says the token is more efficient and practical because it allows users to choose whether to spend the token within the Bitcoinblack marketplace or exchange it for other cryptocurrencies. Note that the SPEND token is pegged at a guaranteed rate of 1 token, equating to $1 in the Bitcoinblack marketplace.
While explaining the project, Chand added:
“We wanted to go further than the boring traditional credit card programs. Most of them offer flights or limited cash-back options as rewards. For us, as we are a crypto credit card, we wanted to do something no other credit card has done, so we teamed up with Haute Living Magazine, the world’s most popular luxury lifestyle magazine network headquartered in Miami, Florida.”
Bitcoinblack has reportedly ushered in an incredible demand for its card. Through the partnership, Bitcoinblack members will get access to various exciting intimate events, including six premier events already slated for 2022. These events have an interesting guest list, including Michelin star chef Alain Ducasse, fashion influencer Oliver Culpo, NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony, LIV golfs Bubba Watson, race car driver Danica Patrick and Tyreek Hill, an NFT star. More guests and events will be added in the coming days.
