Mars4 and Sketchar have partnered up to hold an exclusive Martians888 Art Contest inviting users to create 888 unique Martians.
As per the announcement, the two are collaborating to allow the community to create the best Martian NFT avatars to form part of the Mars4 Metaverse. The event offers a bonus pool of $35,000 shared with contestants participating in the contents. Note, the Martians888 Art Contest already began on November 8 and will run until November 30.
Notably, the collection will be similar to CryptoPunks and will be minted as NFTs and form part of the Mars4 word. The contest offers contestants an opportunity to break through and make a name for themselves in the NFT, Web3, and P2E gaming spaces.
Contestants will need to download the Sketchar app and tap the Martians icon in the Creative Hub. The contestants will also need to fill the outline template for a Martian in their style and share it on the Martian888 collection. Notably, the contestants will be allowed to add accessories or environments but will, however, be required to keep the initial outline of Martian.
Once all contestants have submitted, the Sketchar community and a special jury comprising the Mar4 executive experts and team will select the best 888 Martians. The chosen artwork will be promoted and sold on the Sketchar marketplace and other NFT marketplaces.
Mars4 Metaverse is a play-to-earn gaming ecosystem where players can explore a geographic exact 3D virtual Mars. The platform allows users to own and customize their land while at the same time earning rewards from their land. On the platform, the land is divided into 99.888 unique land plots that unique NFTs represent. In addition. Mars4 also has multiple play-to-earn games combining the best of Decentraland, Axie Infinity, and Star Atlas.
On the other hand, Sketchar is a mobile platform created with unique tools to help artists improve their skills while designing and selling their works. The platform provides augmented reality for drawing, AI for turning images into cartoons, and other advanced artistic tools. Sketchar is backed by Boost, VC, Snap, and IMI.VC. Since its launch, the company has gained a lot of traction and was recently awarded the Webby Award for the Best use of Augmented Reality 2018.
