PARSIQ, a reverse oracle blockchain platform recently added Evan Cheng as their new advisor and investor. Evan Cheng has been a prominent participant in the tech and blockchain industries.
He is currently the Head of Novi Research at Facebook with the duties of advancing the state of art in blockchain and crypto on the platform. In addition, Evan held the position of Director of Engineering, Programming Languages, and Runtimes for Facebook. This allows him to onboard the necessary experience and expertise to advise the PARSIQ team on how best they can improve their core products and features. In addition, PARSIQ will be able to harness his knowledge and expertise to improve its stream processing language ParsiQL and the PARSIQ Platform as a whole.
Notably, Cheng is also an advisor to Chainlink, the decentralized oracle network that provides live data to the blockchain. He also spent ten years working at Apple.
Evan has also been a strong supporter of the work being done by PARSIQ. Cheng outlined the particular importance of PARSIQ for the progress of the entire blockchain segment by stating:

Adding Cheng to its ecosystem is a step into ensuring the PARSIQ platform is prepared to serve its growing ecosystem. Just recently, the platform formed partnerships that integrated the likes of Polkadot and Autonio in their request to make blockchain data actionable. These recent partners, integrations, and additions will reportedly provide the necessary solutions that will help the platform push for mass adoption of blockchain and its technologies.
The platform currently supports various cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Celo, Ethereum, Dash, and Algorand.
PARSIQ is a blockchain data monitoring and workflow automation platform that serves as a multi-level bridge between blockchain and off-chain applications. The platform offers data monitoring and automation across most blockchains and Layer 2 chains. These are used in bridging both on-chain and off-chain apps and keeping users and projects alerted of transactions and events executed in real-time.
